View Full Version : What is a good laser for G26?
I want to get a laser for my mother, she has a G26 9mm subcompact. Without the accessory rail, I'm wondering what options are available for this gun. 70 year-old lady will only be using it as personal defense.
Thank-you for your advice.

Look into Crimson Trace, they get good reviews and do not require a rail.

Look at the internal laser by LaserMax, and if that does not suit your needs they have an external one that will fit the accessories rail as well. However I do suggest the benefits of the internal laser.
Crimson Trace makes a beautiful laser grip for the G26. It's just an outstanding design.

One of the nice things about the Crimson Trace is that you automatically turn it on by gripping the gun. There's no separate switch to turn on. For a home defense gun for your mother, it would be great I think. The laser is a great idea. You can focus on the threat and be sure of your point of aim regardless of ambient light.
