This is our flagship course and goes as far as you can safely go on a square range with live-fire pistols. The dynamic curriculum surpasses the traditional handgun methods commonly taught in most institutions and focuses of the use of the pistol in aggressive close range applications likely in individual civilian street encounters.

The cold weather version of this course examines the issues faced by those of us that live and work in cold climates. We will be drawing and shooting from bulky winter garments, shooting with and without gloved hands, examining alternative carry methods, and if the weather cooperates, shooting and moving in snow. We will also be examining the effects of cold on marksmanship and dexterity

The class is instructed by Suarez International Staff Instructor Jack Rumbaugh.

Duration:
2 days

Ammunition:
Approximately 600 rounds (minimum)

Requirements:
Pistol, Carry holster, 3 Magazines and Magazine Pouch, Flashlight and Range Safety Gear, appropriate cold weather gear, and an old jacket you can shoot through.

Wow. Yesterday I was scraping out a deer hide in a T-shirt. Tonight it is going down to 10 degrees. You guys may end up a bunch of tactical Popsicles.
