They look like the sights that come on a Steyr pistol. I don't like them. They look like they'd be quick to acquire but difficult to do precision shooting with. I see no advantage over a conventional patridge sight picture. If I was going to put zany sights on my pistol, I'd go with a ghost ring. That said, they look better than XS sights.

precision shooting. I don't see why they can't add a 3-dot night config to them as well. Fine lamps for precision/night shooting as well as fast sights under stress. I would like to try them. Anyone know how the coating is holding up? I know there were some issues with them when they came out. P.O.A. was off as well.

They are, as we used to say in the software world, ghostware. They were around for a while, but since at least August they haven't been taking orders. Go ahead and add yourself to the "notify" list if you're interested, but don't be surprised if you never hear anything. Five months is a long time to get their crap together, and they're still not taking orders.

Actually, I got an email from them less than a week after I asked for notification. I got a set that I put on my G30 and shot them a few times. They are fast to line up. It does seem natural to complete the shape of the triangle. They may very well work for a lot of people. For me, though, it was an "old dog, new trick" thing. I've been looking at blade sights for so long that I simply had to go back to a standard sight. I did the same thing with the Big Dots. Tried them. They're ok, took them off.

The set of Sure sights I have is in perfect condition, and I'd be happy to sell them at very reasonable price. If anyone is interested, PM me.

I have those but have never put them on. When I took them out of the box, they were not as "bright" as they are on the computer screen.

I was check them out, & looking for anyone other than the manufacturer that sells them, & I found them on Midway. On Midway they list them for $48.99, but the Status of the product is : Discontinued by Manufacturer, & apparently Midway doesn't have any left.

There is also Advantage Tactical (http://www.advantagetactical.com/index.html) which I kinda like better. Offsetting colors and looks like they have them in stock.

I do not have a set yet but am strongly considering them. Heck I have some people at work that will pitch in and share the set. Cuts down on the price.

The sights Midway sold were the ones produced by TruGlo. They have yellow plastic inserts and they didn't do a good job of glueing them in. As a result Chaim took back control of his design and started contracting each phase of the manufacture out. He also redesigned them to have yellow paint rather than plastic inserts. The paint has held up better than I expected but I still prefer the old style (with a drop of superglue). After about a year of daily carry there are no chips. The edges show wear on close inspection but in no way affects the sight picture.

Others have noted availability has been iffy but the product is well worth it in my opinion. It is a sound idea that works as advertised. They may not be for everyone but they are excellent for my aging eyes.

Try a search for sure sight and you'll have quite a bit of good reading.
