M1 Garand is here!!!

i recieved my M1 Garand and a crate of ammo on clips from CMP. it's a correct grade and i LOVE it!!!
now i need to get this out there now...i can't find the cord that plugs in to the camera and the puter, so no pics for right now. (i'll have to find it) so no flames please...:embarassed:

it's GREAT! how do i find out when it was made? the serial number is 58385XX
the numbers on the barrel are... SA F65354XX 4 55 A220C

what do all these numbers mean?!?

i have a book around here that will tell me all bout the gun...but i can't find it :faint:

anyways, the M1 Garand is the greatest rifle there is and i CAN'T wait to shoot it.:whistling:

Who made it? Springfield Armory? It should say on the receiver by the serial number.....

ya it's a springfield. and i found my book. it's "for collectors only" series...it's a GREAT book. they make a TON of them i would recamend them. :wavey:
