What is the best glock rear sight tool, and what is the best place to find one?

I like the MGW tool. www.lonewolfdist.com has good prices and good service on them.
A vise, wood dowel and a rubber mallet works good too
A vise and a brass punch works even better. Dowels tend to split when a tight sight (Sevigny, Warren, or Heine come to mind) is installed.
Hi mikwiz,
I tend to favor MidwayUSA (http://www.midwayusa.com) for parts and the MGW Glock Sight Tool (http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=884401&t=11082005). However, there's two different models of the MGW: one for the standard sights and one for higher sights (e.g. Heinie Straight Eights). I've got the older model and Dremel'd down the side so it could take newer sights. Just cover it was a piece of tape and a cleaning cloth and there's no marks on the new sights :).
I've gone the wooden dowel and hammer route a few times and always regret it.

Just use a wooden dowel and hammer....Sight pushers are overpriced and not needed

Until you blow a night sight tube out of your new rear night sights. SO not a warranty issue......

I have the MGW Glock Sight Tool and I find it quite useful. Nothing bad to say about it. Much easier than a mallet and punch, and much easier on your sight.

Thats an old wives tale....If you use wood dowel it will not hurt a tritium sight

I put my Meps on my G36 with a 3lb sledge and a steel punch. Except for a few minor scratches in the park finish it went in just fine.

Years ago I got the glock factory tools but it takes one for the small slide (9, 40, 357) and another for the large slide (10, 45).
If I were buying today I think I'd get the MGW.
If you're just going to adjust one or two rear sights or replace one or two, you can get by without buying a rear sight tool, but if you plan to adjust a lot of sights, using the tool is by far the best way to go.
The MGW is a good tool. The tool currently offered by Glock is not good for using on steel sights, but works OK for the polymer one's.

Tiritum is in a glass filled tube, If you want to beat on something sideways like this then you will take your chances. They are designed to take the punishment endwise, not sideways. Simply FYI, nothing more, nothing less.
