I just got a Glock 19 and I want to add a laser sight to it. I thought about getting one of those streamlight light/laser things, but I feel it will be too bulky for me and not fit in a good holster with that. Plus I always carry my Surefire 60 lumen light on my hip n-e ways.
So i was interested in a LaserMax laser as it fits right into the housing for the barrel. Are these decent lasers, or do you have any other suggestions?
Thankx,
Mike

First of all; BUMP
But mostly, I wanna say that this forum is SORRY!!!
I posted this simple question, for some feedback, and four days later I haven't gotten a single answer. I have been on my fair share of forums, and EVERY one of them has gotten me feedback on topics like this. How many thousand people are on Glock Talk???and not one of them can answer!!! One forum I'm on has around 3000 people on it, and my very first post/thread received 20 replies in about a day. ***comment edited by mod.***

Fair enough!

I honestly didn't see your post...

Sometimes, when there are several posts asking for the same info, I answer one, and leave it to the members to peruse the threads, and find the info they are looking for.

And there are active threads covering this topic! But nooo, you've got to have a personal reply....

Again, fair enough...

I like the LaserMax. We put one in Judy's G19 (attached) in 2006, and it has been flawless. Rounds appear about 1/4" above the dot, right to the back of the range. The unit has proved durable for well over 3000-rounds, so far, and I see no reason not to trust it. No parts failure of any kind. Hell, it's still on the same batteries!

They are spendy little devils, but how tricked out is that--the guide rod is the laser! That's just slick! :smoking:

With LaserMax There Are:

. No Holstering Issues
. No Left-Hand Issues
. No Grip Issues
. No Weapon Light Issues
. No Impact To The Gun's Ergonomics
. No Impact To The Gun's Aesthetics
. No Hassles Popping In The OEM Guide Rod For Range Practice
. No Collimation Hassles--The Beam Is Close To The Bore Axis
. No Frequent Battery Changes

I bought one for Judy after installing one in my G21, and putting about 3000 rounds on it (see other thread covering lasers and lights)

If I didn't want to pop for the LaserMax, I'd look at the Uni-Max, also by LaserMax. These also mount close to the bore axis, allow for a weapon light, and can be had for $164.00 Delivered!

Here's one LEO's review on LaserMax in a duty G21...
