Anyone ever bought one os these knock offs from Ebay??? There Hong Kong speacials. I started looking and thought how bad could a knock off really jack up just a 3x of magnifacation. I can't really see myself spending the cash for the real deal. I dont really think It would be used where Im at but kinda of nice to have in case. Anyway if anyone has tryed one of these I would like to hear about your experience with it.

Thanks

I would recommend getting one. The magnifier is good quality, and works great with my EOTech sight. It's worth the money. Mine came Friday.

Well that is good to hear. I track down a guy that has the Aimpoint today. It was nice but nothing special for the 300 plus dollars. For the little bit of cash and the wear and tear it will see I think it will work great for me. Thanks for the input and how is the DFW area doing????

I've been running one of these for a couple months now. Hard to tell from a true Aimpoint. Ran it in a 2-gun competition and did very well. I've got it mounted in a LaRue tip-off mount.

I can't see how Aimpoint gets so much money for what is essentially a 3x monocular w/ no moving parts. I have a proper Aimpoint M3 on my rifle that I paid the bucks for, but it has electronics and precise adjustments, AND I rely on it every day for my job.

What I don't like is that the Chinese counterfeiters could easily sell these on their own without sticking Aimpoint and EoTech logos on them. They even come with a copy of the Aimpoint manual. I'd much rather buy a copy than a counterfeit.

The Aimpoint Copy sights and the mounts they sale are excellent also. I own two Aimpoint copies and mounts.

Yeah my thoughts exactly, no cross hairs no knobs for adjusting. Sounds like your in the same line of work as I am in. We both know that somtimes weapons get abused and used. If I take a good fall and my weapon goes with me I dont see the Aimpoint or the knock making it out in working order.

Ive got the best of both worlds right now. An Acog plus a M68, I can talior my optic needs depending what is going on that day. Having the best of both worlds all the time would be great!!

DFW is a great place to live. It's a dream to live here. I was stuck in CA too long.

I have one each of the clone, Aimpoint and the Larue 2.5. Honestly, I cannot tell the view from the aimpoint and the clone apart. I haven't dunked the clone to see if it is water proof but it seems to be a really good value.
