I'm sorry if this has been discussed, but I don't follow GG closely now. I do manage the Glock Serial Number project and someone has just reported this one:

LNY - G-19 - December 2007 - 3rd Gen. - Smyrna GA

This seems to be the first compact frame seemingly made in the USA. Glock has been making the standard frame (G17,22) in the USA for awhile now.

Could be. All my sources of info will soon be on their way to the Shot Show in Vegas, so I cannot confirm it.

Any update on Compact Frames being made in USA? I had an MBG alpha prefix G-19 just turned in to the GSN thread, but it was marked Made in Austria...

Edit: typo on the prefix, changed to MBG

I saw some last year, before November becaused I retired then from gun business, but I have not seen any in recent months...just standard frames..last 17L's were GA frames..

Just bought a G-19 this week. It was 'tested' and sent from the factory on in late April (08) and arrived at the gun shop on 5-1-08. Can't get any fresher than that.

Anyway, it says MADE IN AUSTRIA on frame and slide. The serial number begins MDA-XXXX

Sorry if that was in poor taste.
