For the past six months I have been without the glock infection. I am wanting to get reinfected. My quandry is as follows: I eventually will end up with 4 glocks. The 17,26,22,27. I can only afford one right now. I have lost sleep trying to figure out which one to get first. Any help will be appreciated. I know it depends on what I will be doing with them, but I cannot decide. I only have 1 pistol right now. A beretta model 21a. So I have no where to go but up (as far as power goes). Thanks in advance.

Why not just get the 22/27 and conversion barrels for when you shoot 9mm?

I agree unless you want it for concealed carry, then the 26!!!! As with all guns, practise practise practise and the G19 or G26 give you the ability to do this unless you have u nlimited funds, then, get them all!!!
Sounds good to me!!!!

Start with the G26. You can use it for everything you need a gun for, range, ccw, home defense. The others are more/bigger of the same.

G26. Period.

I also own a G26,but if I had to choose I would go with the G27 for sure.
Same size as the 26 for CCW,and 10 in .40 is a ton of firepower.
If you enjoy plinking a lot, maybe the 26, but why not carry the 27? I do every day,all day. Never met anyone who owned a 27 and was dissapointed, even if it is their only pistol.

I say get the 19. It's the perfect size between the 17 & 26. Big enough for HD small enough to be concealed if your nor a girlie man.

I am a huge Glock fan basically because of the SUBS.

Suggesting him to get a G19, which is 9mm, and yet saying "if you're not a girlie man" ? That right there doesn't make much sense to me. :whistling: :couch:

Screw the others! Be a real man, and just get a G20 and/or G29 in 10mm, the only true Magnum powered auto cartidge... and buy a bunch of DoubleTap ammunition.

If you're planning on spending money for 4 pistols, which'd be $2k+ eventually, then you'll have enough money to rather spend 3/4 of that $2k on ammo and night sights for your G20 or G29.

There you have it.

That's if you assume 40 is any better than 9mm in stopping power. I don't.

Get the G27

You sound like me, except I went 9mm and 45 full size and subcompacts.

Might want to reconsider. With the 9mm and 45 you get different frame sizes, which is neat. And 9mm and 40 are just a whole lot alike. I can't see owning both when 9mm and 45 glocks exist.

I originally got my G17 first, G26 second, G21 third, and G30 last. I carry the 30 daily, but if I could do it all over again, I'd get the G26 first, the G30 second, the G17 third, and the G-21 (SF now) last.

Good choice indeed. Or if you can squeeze out two, go for the Glock 17 and its lil brother the G26. ((You Save on ammo costs if you go with the 9mm)).

No 20? (or 29?)

Makes the 21 and 30 seem like a bitter joke.

How does it make the 21 and 30 seem like a bitter joke?

I don't have any guns in 10mm.

Well,

They are the same frame, but a much better caliber....(IMHO, of course.):wavey:

If I wanted a better gun, I'd get a conversion setup for 45 super. That puts the 10mm to shame easily.
