Does anyone know if it is legal to carry while hiking in / around Blood Mountain in north Georgia? Anyone have any links, etc?

I believe it is against the law to carry in a state park... for a lot of info, you can visit www.georgiapacking.org

Now, if you ask do I think it should be unlawful? that is another story...

LOL - I agree with you whether or not it SHOULD be illegal... I was not aware it was a State Park... thank you for your answer. :)

Blood Mountain is not in a state park, it is in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Forest land is OK.

But, if you take the Bear Hair Trail on the north side of Blood Mountain, you will pass into Vogel State Park. Two or three of the trails on Blood and Slaughter Mountains go through Vogel so be aware of that.
