Voice Recorders

I know there's a thread about carrying a notebook, but I just wondered if anyone else is carrying a voice recorder? I carry one wherever I go and it's much more convenient than whipping out a pen while driving, etc. It's a small digital Olympus that I picked up at Staples for about $30 and I even keep it by the bed for those times when I want to remember something.

I did at one point but my train of thought doesn't always transfer from a mental image or idea to a verbal one so its easier for me to take my time to right it out.
