Yeah! The permit is in my wallet. :)
So where's the best deal for a 39? I haven't decided for sure on the 39, or for that matter the GAP platform, but I do think that is a impressive carry piece.
So, anyone know of any hot deals out there? I did call CDNN - nothing in a subcompact Glock right now. If not the 39, I'm leaning towards the 27.

Can't go wrong with either the G39 or G27, excellent choices!

Thanks. The way I look at it, the 40 may penetrate a little more (less frontal area), the GAP will hit a little harder (more frontal area :) ).

Yeah, they are at $511 delivered, standard sights. Anyone know of a better deal than that?
Wish I could help you there. I'm just glad your considering the 45 GAP. It's a phenominal round that is only lately really getting the attention it deserves.

www.summitgunbroker.com is cheaper than anybody I can think of. Get the G39 you'll love the Gap cartridge.
Yeah, and it appears Summit has one, possibly more, G39's. Call em quick!

I saw one for sale in the firearms listing here for a helluva price - it's in Jacksonville, FL. Maybe he'd be willing to ship?
dude, I just bought a G39 as my chl piece. It is the most awesome gun for concealment. I had to special order it at Bass Pro shops in DFW, and it took 2 days to get it. It was worth it. I paid $569 for it. I really didn't want to have to wait for a gun show to try to find it cheaper. It was worth a bit more just to know that I could go pick it up in a couple days. Good luck to you...the 39 is one of my favorites. I also have a g 30 and I am starting to think I like the 39 better just because it is so much more concealable.
Zanders sporting goods has the G38 for 481.00 to an FFL holder, Thats where I got mine, But I have an FFL, Check them out gzanders.com

The G39 is amazingly easy to shoot. I haven't fired anything but my G17 in 20 years, and I'd never used +P, much less, +P+ ammunition. I was expecting a much larger kick from the .45GAP round, especially from a sub-compact.
The extra weight of the slide really makes all the difference. Recoil and muzzle flip is a bit more than the G17 (with normal loads), but not significantly more.
The sub-compact grip took a few seconds to get used to, figuring out that my pinky could curl under the bottom of the magazine just fine. If I have +1 Pearce extensions on, it feels pretty much like a full-sized grip, but still conceals better than a Glock compact.
