When did the Model 60 go from .38 to .357? I am seeing a lot of model 60's that basically look like Stainless model 36's but are in .38. I am in the market for a chiefs special, but I like the look of the 36 better than the current 60. I would prefer one in blue. I'll keep my eyes open.
Thanks in advance.

Don't know the answer to your query, but there are plenty of used M60s around in the old, .38 special, fixed firing pin configuration.
First stainless handgun!
A real classic, IMHO.

Thanks. I think I'll stick to the Model 36 in blue. I'll keep looking.
Any one else know when they went to .357?

How much should one expect to pay for a model 60, stainless used?

I just picked up a real nice one for $300. Hardly shot and in great condition.
