My local police supply has a Glock 22 with one original 14 round mag that is an LE trade in. On the out side it looks as if it has been carried in a duty holster 8 to 10 hours a day for close to a decade because it has. This ware includes various grooves, nicks, and a well worn smooth surface that only genuine carry and handling produces. On the inside it does not look as if the gun has fired over 500 to 1000 rounds. The internal surfaces including the barrel, barrel lug ect. hardly shows any wear at all. I would be suprised if the officer used it to do anything much beyond qualification.
Trigger seems good and the slide is as tight as any Glock I have held.
They want $349.00 plus tax. What do you guys think?;d

Modern Gun Values list a G22 in very good condition for $350.00. With the price of hicap mags today I would say it is an acceptable price.

The fourth generation glocks have been released onto the market with accessory rails, finger grooves, drop-free magazines, and the new cylindrical locking system. They are generally selling in the $450.00 range. The price of the police discards aren't too bad right now if you want a first generation generation Glock to shoot (never to resale without a loss), but for approximately $100.00 you could have a brand new state-of-art Glock 22.

I predict that the price of used generation one & two Glocks will drop sharply within the next six months and that the generation 3's will sky-rocket (not everyone likes the new locking system)!

I'm not sure you could call the new 2002 Glocks "fourth generation", the only addition to all new Glocks is a round in the chamber indicator. The locking device is an add-on option like the night sights.

I would buy the new one also. For 100 more you can have a brand spaking new one, and then you don't have to worry about it for a long time.
