Finally was able to afford a G30... just wanted to drop in and say Hi. So, hi! ;g
Haven't had a chance to fire it very much yet, but so far, it's a hell of a pistol. Was considering the 36, but after trying both in a holster and walking around the store with it a bit, there really isn't all that much difference to me, though the thickness will take a bit of getting used to...
Next I want a 29... 0r 20... but only after I get a 21 for duty carry...

Pointless post, I know, but I'm pretty freakin excited.

Congrads! I just bought one a couple hours ago. Now I have a G27 and G30. I can't wait to go shoot it.

I held a G36 and thought I would just stick with the 30 instead.

You'll be happy with your purchase! Switch out that nasty grooved trigger with a G21 smooth trigger, and you're good to go! If it didn't come with night sights, have them installed. Meprolights are my favorite.

The grooved trigger doesn't bother me at all. Since, I got my G30 last week, I have fired 600rds with no ill effect on my trigger finger. To each his own, right?
