Anyone tried LS basepads - no extension - to shoot Limited 10 with? I blistered my palm once last week on a speed reload and thought a longer basepad may help. This one has added weight to help drop out faster.
Yes. I use them and they work well. The ones I have are aluminum and therefore don't add much weight but the added length helps greatly when seating mags. I highly recommend them.
cpty1: Do the LS baseplates install OK on the mags..? I bought some brass baseplates and they really don't fit that precisely...They don't seem to have enough material removed at the "front" to allow the disassembly "button" to locate into the hole in the baseplate, which causes some problems, not the least of which is they will not lock in place and start to move during a competition. Not a big deal, as I just give them a tap back into place when I reload my mags...but it's going to wear something out eventually.

Canuck - I have them on my G35 mags.
They work very well and don't move around at all.
The only negative is that they are very difficult to install and cut into the baseplate locking tabs on either side of the mag. Once you have them installed, they work great and will not slip or slide. They stay put.
Here's a pic of a couple installed on some .40 hi-caps:

Trsnrtr- Those are nice but I don't think those are the ones Canuck is referring to. Don't your extensions add xtra rds.?

Ahhh... I did a speed read and didn't notice the "-no extension-" part. Sorry, these are extension base pads for USPSA.
Canuck, I had no problems with the installation of my base pads at all. No issues with disassembly holes not lining up, etc.
