Just received 20 of those unique cardboard and steel clips from Dan's, and a few of them have varying amounts of rust or corrosion. I know brass wool is the best way to remove this on other rifle parts and assume the same would be true for these. It's going to be a bit tricky not to damage the cardboard parts while I'm at it, since most of this is on the interior parts. I'll probably try a toothbrush first on the inside areas just because that's easier, but I don't hold out much hope for that. Anyway, I'm certainly interested in anyone else's experience with this problem.
