View Full Version : Any GSSF Commemorative Pistols Left ? G30 05-26-2002, 05:58 Does anyone know if there are any GSSF Pistols left, and if there are can they be ordered with a GSSF award certificate? DannyR 05-26-2002, 06:30 Yes (as of last week), and Yes.:) THE VOID 05-29-2002, 04:58 Danny, are there any GSSF pistol left? Also, I can't seem to get the order form to show up on gssfonline. What am I doing wrong? thanks Dayton DannyR 05-29-2002, 05:09 I'm sure there are some pistols left. Go to www.gssfonline.com 1. Click on "Hot Topics." 2. Click on the black "Commemorative Pistol order form available" line. 3. Click on red "Click here to order" line It's a two page pdf file that takes a few minutes to download. THE VOID 05-29-2002, 05:32 I tried that. But the "here" line only take you to a GSSF membership form. One page. Am I missing something else? Dayton THE VOID 05-29-2002, 05:51 Okay, just talk to glock. my computer is showing a gray box where the "clickable" red writing should be. Don't know why. I will try it at home. thanks, Dayton dhoomonyou 05-29-2002, 06:00 If a person gets one of these do they lose value if you shoot it? or is it for collecting only and not shooting? either way the price cant be beat. DannyR 05-29-2002, 06:09 Most folks are shooting them.:) kestrou 05-29-2002, 06:15 I started out thinking I wouldn't shoot it... and still haven't... but man am I wanting to! I'm sure I won't hold out forever. kestrou don't tread on me 05-29-2002, 06:28 Mine is still "like" new, well new like after about 4k rounds through it!!! Don At PC 05-29-2002, 06:35 Mine is still setting nicely in a display case just like I received it. The only rounds that have been thru it that I am aware of are the 2 rounds to fingerprint it. I plan on keeping it that way, but that was my choice. There is nothing wrong with buying one of them for shooting; wont find a better price. Mine is # 015 so it will probably never be worth much more than the going price for a new G17. Now if I had TJC's # 002 I would keep it in the safe. Fireglock 05-29-2002, 06:43 . GlockMom 05-29-2002, 09:22 That's what Sniper gave me to shoot. It has a low number too (#173). But he says what was 1 out of 500 is now 1 out of 1000 so he doesn't see any more value than any other glock. Maybe if I am lucky I can eventually win a gun with it like Jerry. (C class of course) I'm not ready to run with the big dogs yet. Fireglock 05-29-2002, 11:14 Originally posted by GlockMom That's what Sniper gave me to shoot. It has a low number too. No reason you can't win a gun in A class. :) All it takes is practice, dedication, practice, a positive attitude and did I mention practice? It also helps to have a Dillon 550B or 650 to keep those practice sessions moving smoothly. ;f I'm sure you'll be knocking on the door soon GlockMom. Just get sniper to start that press and keep the ammo coming. GlockMom 05-29-2002, 11:29 I'm working on it. Sniper was going to the range today to talk to some of the guys and I told him he wasn't going shooting without me. He promised me he wasn't shooting. He even had me sorting brass and showing me how to work his press. Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) I think I can...I think I can...I think I can. Mark CA 06-06-2002, 05:39 I just called GSSF in Smyrna and there are still some Anniversary G17s available as of today (Thur, 6/6). What a deal! :) mcginnes 06-06-2002, 06:04 Originally posted by Fireglock Mine is a low, low number but it's already won me another Glock. Shoot it, that's what they're made for! ;f Now that you mention it, my Number 016 has won me two glocks:cool:. Hum, maybe those low numbers ARE worth more than your average Glock. ;Q GLOCKhp 06-06-2002, 07:38 No. 088 was good for B-7 and $25 in Richmond. Maybe higher B in Statesville...... But with my luck .01 sec better than B-1 is more likely. Don At PC 06-06-2002, 07:48 Michael; If your #016 won you 2 new Glocks then my #015 should win me 3------- right? Of course I have never shot mine because I have it in a display case but I do have another G17 that I do shoot occassionally and I have just put a set of Bomars on it-------hmmmmmmmmmmm;g ;g ;g Fireglock 06-06-2002, 07:52 Don - it's a Glock, your wasting it in that box! ;f glockNstein 06-07-2002, 04:43 So that's what I need to do. Stop using the 23 in Am/Civ and use my #010 G17. I have shot it, just not at a match yet. Things that make you go, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! http://www.colute.net/cwm/contrib/edoom/spacecraft.gif Here I go again!!! Don At PC 06-07-2002, 05:03 glockNstein; Don't you know that # 10 is Bad ? Everyone knows that # 10 is no good. Why don't you send that nastey old thing up here to me and I will take care of it for you. That may be why the little green guys from outter space is after you. ;P ;P ;P ;P ;P glockNstein 06-07-2002, 14:14 Uh.... OK, Don! I'll send it right out. Isn't DEJ/FL an FFL? I'll have FG send it to him asap. I don't need any Bad auras, vibes, #'s etc. around. NOT!!!! http://www.theunholytrinity.org/cracks_smileys/contrib/edoom/spacecraft.gif Here I go again!!! Vanek Custom 06-16-2002, 13:06 Ordered 6/03/02 Received # 997 on 6/14/02 Now that was close!! sablair 06-17-2002, 16:04 GSSF116 garnered 5th place Am. Civ. B-class at Roseburg, and I couldn't be more pleased, seeing as how I was the one shooting it at the time. ;K This was the pistol my wife, a serious non-shooter, gave me for my birthday last year. This is only the 2nd GSSF match I have entered. Ironicaly, this was not my best nor worst time of the day. I shot 227.20 SubCompact, 182.54 Am. Civ, and 159.74 Comp. Thank you for indulging this bit of crowing. These moments in the sun come rarely. :) TJC 06-17-2002, 22:21 sablair, Feel free to CROW LOUDLY!;) DannyR 06-18-2002, 00:49 Sablair, Every GSSF member gets to shine in the sun in this forum.;) vBulletin® v3.7.3, Copyright ©2000-2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. | ![]() |
