I just took a job driving for Yellow Cab in A2.

CCW is prohibited on company property and in company vehicles, but there IS a GT'er in your town working days.:wavey:
(And I'm having fun doing it, too!)

Congrats. What's your background in? We have openings in GR if interested in coming west.
Even though carrying may be against company policy, no part of the MCL prohibted a CPL holder from carrying. Driving a cab is the last place I'd wanted to be without a pistol.

Fortunately, it's Ann Arbor. The worst that'd happen is someone might spill their patchouli oil on me. Half of what the cab company does is pick up the busing system's overflow of specialty rides for the disabled.
I transport lots of people who can't drive for medical reasons. I really enjoy the Down's Syndrome people. They've always got sunny dispositions. It's great!

I'm at an office in Ann Arbor who also prohibits concealed carry (company policy, not law).
Take from that what you will. :dunno:

True that Michigan's laws say it's OK, the clowns in Lansing don't sign my paycheck. My job is too lucrative to risk getting terminated because of carrying a weapon at work. (although I wish I could...) We have had more than a couple on the job shootings and cases of workplace violence over the years, but luckily I now work in one of the buildings that's well away from that part of the company.

The whole point of concealed carry is that no one knows when you are packing. I wouldn't worry about it.
BTW, welcome to the area! I'm in Ypsi and have an FFL if you need anything.
