Awfully nice firearm there. It even dwarfs my 34.

How do you like the sights?

Plan on shooting it soon?

I don't care for the GLOCK adjustable sights. They seem to fragile to me. I swapped them out on my G34 for the Dawson/Heinie set up which has worked out great. I will probably do the same with this one.

I plan on putting it through a workout this weekend if I don't have to work.

I don't like the OEM adjustables, either. My G34 wears Trijicon H3s.

Sweet, another batch came out.

I just sold my 17L though. The guy I bought it off of last year wanted to buy it back and I really didn't shoot it that much. So at least I didn't loose any money on it and it will be put to good use (he wants to use it for an Open gun).

Who is stocking these now? Can you order from any Glock Authorized Dealer, or must you go through certain wholesalers?

I got mine from my local dealer. From what I've read on here it is a limited production run of 2000-3000. They were released last Thursday.

Do a search for G17L and you will find a few recent threads about this.
