Storms bout to hit Indy

They came through the Evansville area a while ago. I'm listening to the scanner now, all the fire departments in the area are checking buildings where the roof is blown off, walls down, gas leaks, trees and power lines down, etc. Sounds like a mess, but it could be worse.

They're saying we had winds between 50 and 70 mph. You all that are under the gun stay safe!

My parents in Speedway just called to say a possible tornado took out some of the apartments on 30th street and continued across the street, damaged a couple of houses and that the strip mall where McGilverys is might have been damaged as well. Power in the area seems to be out as well.

I hope everyone made it through OK.

Blew through 30th and Mitthoeffer without any damage.

For future reference, those who have scanners, listen to 146.76 in Marion county during storm events.

I live on the FAR south-side...about 2 par-5 holes from Greenwood, actually.

It was a little windy, but we've had worse. The actual storm blew through in just a few minutes.

Power was out from about 8:45 to 10:00 on the dot.

Went through Indy at 04:45 today. Lot of rain.

We had that this morning about the same time, but the strong storms/tornados are supposed to come through here tonight :(
