Why is it they only offer 185 gr.??

I heard that they only offer 185 gr because they make it for the GA State PD, and that is what they wanted...However, I don't know if that is true or not.

Thanks for the heads up on Georgia Arms. I was going to place a order with ammoman.com tomorrow for 1,000 rounds and it was going to be $320 shipped. This should save me a little $$.

Man, the price IS right.....if you're in their "zone 1" shipping is $22 so, 1000 rounds would come out to $297 delivered. That is $14.85 per 50!
FWIW, Zone 1 = AL,AR,DE,FL,GA,IL,IN,KY,LA,MD,MO,MI,MS,NJ,NC,OH,PA,SC,TN,VT,VA,WV

Every time I go out to see them (I'm fortunate that they are local) I ask about GAP bullet weights and the answer is always the same - 185 is what the GSP wants so that is what they make. Can't complain about the price. Their 124gr 9mm is my other favorite.
