GAPPERS,

I have gone the route of the G21, G21SF, USP Full Size 45, not a great fit with any. The G17, 22, platform fits me perfect. (I almost purchased a G37 in November 07, but went the G21SF route)

I am know looking at the G37..... Please give me the Pros & Cons of the G37.

This will be a HD & Range gun. (I carry an HK P2000 357 sig)

Thanks,
John

Pros: It's one of the most accurate Glocks I've ever owned. Soft shooter. Excellent balance.

Con: You need a holster designed specifically for a G37. Blade-tech has them at www.blade-tech.com

Also, 10th round is very difficult to load at first.

I keep thinking about the same thing JR45. The G21 and G21SF is jut too wide for me. I'm really thinking about either a G37 or G38 because the G17/G19 are perfect for me and it's what I'm used to.

I notice FIST holsters lists the G37 as one of its offerings too.

m4arc, Have you shot the 37 yet? If you're local to the Hampton Roads area and want to "test drive" a couple GAP models, let me know. I'm in Virginia Beach and can bring a 37 and 39.

No I haven't and I would love too! One of the reasons I haven't ran out to buy one is because I've been waiting to test drive one. I'm in VB too and I belong to Lafayette so we can shoot 24/7 indoors. Let's try and plan something. Thanks!

As far as holsters, I have a Comp-tac paddle w/FBI cant. I love it! It is made for the 37. One of the best companies I have ever dealt with.

About a month ago I was at a range that rented both, so I gave both a try. When I first picked up the 21SF I was impressed, a big improvement in my mind over the original 21, it was a great shooter. Then I tried the 37, another very positive experience. Recoil seemed to me equally mild on both, perhaps a scant sharper with the 37.

If you are faced with the handicap of smaller hands like me, then your choice will almost certainly be the G37. The grip and trigger reach was much more comfortable and natural. I have yet to buy a G37 but I will soon enough.

Depending on what style holster your looking for some G20/21 holsters will hold a G37.
