I recently got a reference from a good friend. I've been well pleased dealing with a small shop in Greenville, SC. Try Traders Gun Shop at 2850 Wade Hampton Blvd., Hwy 29 South, phone number 864-292-5644, ask for Jim. The shop is located near Taylors, SC across from the old Winn Dixie Warehouse, left side of the road driving from Spartanburg.

thanks for the replies. I wound up buying from The Southern Sportsman. Since, I have heard that there is a new store that has occupied the old lowes building on the west side of town. Going to go by and check ammo/glock prices.

You will not be dissappointed with Academy, even though it takes 45 minutes and 3 people to get your 4473 filled out, processed and the gun paid for. And that with a SC CWP which does NOT require them to call in a Brady. But they do have Russki 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 aka 308 for $5 and $8 a box respectively.

I buy 98% of my weapons at Fast Cash Pawn Shop on 221 in Spartanburg and would recommend over any other in the area. Decent prices, large selection and friendly folks who won't push things on you or try to get involved in politics. Business with a smile. Been going there for 10+ years ....
