Got my Desert Eagle .50AE home and got to fire a couple of shots tonight. Only shot three as it was nearly dark and I could barely make out the sights.

Dang if two out of three rounds had the case smack me right in the nose. The only reason I think it didn't happen on the last round was I had my hat brim down to about my eyebrows and canted my head forward.

Great gun! But does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix the straight back ejection pattern?

.......you will become a REAL man and be able to catch them with your teeth, then quickly spit them into your shirt pocket.

With several hundred rounds of practice, you will be able to accomplish this, just as fast as you can pull the trigger.

I'm still "in training".

The ejector could be a little dirty or need the face "teeeked". Suggest you take the bolt apart and check and/or replace the spring.

My .44 ejects everything high right. The brass misses my head by 18-24 inches.
(howerer my weapon is a MK1,.44mag)

I've had my 50AE for a couple years now and have about 200 rounds through it. Its only assualted me with brass once and that was right in the forehead. I will say those cases are big and fly fast. I could see where it hit me for almost a week. Not fun.

BYW, my DE has never malfunctioned.

Use the push pull method, If you do it right you want have any problems. Read Instructions! Its easy, once you get it down, you will love shooting it.
