and he gets out his little can of OC - stop arguing!!

Today was OC day at the academy, and I don't mean Open Carry, Rhino!

I was 'lucky' and got hit with the foam, so I was able to wipe it out immediately, but the effects lingered on for a while.

Some of the guys took it real bad, lot of (normal) swearing, etc. Everyone did real well, I was proud of my classmates.

Fun and games.

Alas, we don't get Tazed unless we get issued one. Everything I've heard, would MUCH rather get Tazed than OC'd - it's over in 5 seconds.

Ah yes, brings back fond memories of taking off the gas masks in the chamber in basic training. Then trying to recite you name, rank and ssn.
Except in basic training the gas permiates your clothing and you have traces of gas with you the rest of the day.

One of the Carmel PD Major's, his name just flew away, trained us on Tazer at Carmel STV. I volunteered to take a hit (w/o the Barb), he just taped the leads to a shoulder and the opposite leg.

No fun...

I hope you do not have to do this as well Steve...

Good Luck again buddy!

I have been tazed and OC'd, both in the same evening.

It was my 2nd date with the GF, been together for damn near 10yrs now.

What can I say, I like rough woman.

You know, if she has to taze you and OC you, I don't think you can call it a "date" as much as a "restraining order violation".

GF: Do you like rough sex.
Me: Heck ya!
GF: Stand back a few feet.
Me: Huh?
GF: A little further.
Me: Honey, something about this isn't right. :dunno:
GF: Are you ready?
Me: :embarassed:

(GF shoots me in the face with OC)
Me: :crying: Why did you do that for?
GF: Just setting the ground rules for this relationship.
Me: But.......
(GF shoots me with tazer.)
Me: :faint:
GF: Are you OK.
Me:

We got Tased last Saturday in our academy. I am NOT looking forward to the OC @ all!

From what I gather, the Taser hurts (I'll attest to that!), but when it's over, it's over. The OC is "the gift that keeps on givin'!" So far, most of the guys who have been OCed said that you don't want to wash your hair until the next day, as the water tend to reactivate it & send it straight to your eyes again!

IMHO, being tazed isn't nearly as bad as OC. The taser pain ends as soon as the taser is done. The OC keeps on giving its love for hours.

Get the OC enough, you'll get used to it and can start putting it on your Taco Bell order for a little "kick".

I would be unfavorably disposed toward anyone who sprayed me with pepper spray.

Yeah, tasered too.

I got hit in the eyes pretty good with the Defense Technlogies MK-3 that burned bad. Wed. I go through Tazer and cant decide if i want to take the ride or not. If I do I will not be shot but will have them hooked to me and have to have it recorded to have proof.
