I have seen many of glocks that have been refinished. I thought I would share my old G34.
I mainly posted this pic to give ECMILLS some ideas..
Weird type of green/black camo. Unique!

Digicam. I, personally, wouldn't use Duracoat again. I much prefer Molyresin. Duracoat really sprays wierd.

It was the light.
The finished held up suprisingly good through all the holstering and abuse that IDPA can give it.

it's too shiny, it's too dull, it's too digi-flage.....blah blah blah. a matter of personal preference. Krylon the hell out of it if you want to. I personally like to see worn slides. that means you ACTUALLY USE IT.
here are a few of mine...

how does it stand up to holster wear when compared to glocks original finish.

I like it. :)
Duracoat is not quite as tough as the original finish, but it's pretty close. You can see where my 34 makes contact with my holster. But Hank and I are IDPA shooters: Both of these guns enter and leave a holster in a month more than my carry gun does in a year.

G19 Tony, what DuraCoat color is that? Please, I really need to know so that I can decide which color to get mine finished in.
Thanks!

I always tape off the the breech face and underneath. The only thing I paint underneath is the slide rails and the barrel shroud.
