View Full Version : Sleeves for G19 Magazines to Use in G26?

I'd like to use Glock 19 (midsize 9mm) magazines in my Glock 26. No, not to increase magazine capacity (live in Kalifornia) but so the magazine spring is less likely to fatigue out - the 26 is very tight with a full load of 10, the 19 is understressed.
Where can I get sleeves for the G19 magazines so they will work better with the G26 magazines?
(Yeah, I thought about Pearce +2 pinky extensions for the G26 magazines, but since they would increase magazine capacity they are a no-no out here. Even thought they would get the job done by relieving the 10 round compressed spring issue.)
Check all the way down.

I use one of those on a Glock 22 mag as a spare for my 27. Pretty nice product (as long as you don't carry the spare in a pouch - I carry mine in the console of my truck).

No offense, but that seems like a rediculous reason to desire to use 19 mags. A spring will not fatigue as long as it is always in the same state (i.e. compressed).
I brought A&G sleeves for this very purpose.
To each his own, but for me, it felt awkward as my pinky could move the sleeve and magazine around in the gun, vs. a solid grip I would expect.
I prefer to shoot bigger mags w/o a grip sleeve.

Even if it did preserve your springs (it will not), you could simply replace them when they wear out.
How many Glock mag springs have you worn out? How often do you shoot?
BTW, the bigger mag with an A&G spacer grip is going to slow your reloads.
