I recently bought two base plates for my new G26 from Concealable Control.

anyway to make a long story short I got one of them in and it looked like the form did not have enough plastic loaded into it so it looks cracked.

I sent several emails to the guys at concealable control but they all bounced back as undeliverable. Now I was getting very worried, I wanted to send emails with pictures so they could see what I was talking about. Anyway I finally just gave them a call and talked directly to the owner Lane Pughe. AWESOME guy! He was very apologetic and said it should not have left the factory. I sent him a pic to his personal email address and he refunded MY ENTIRE purchase price. I was thinking he would just refund my shipping cost and would have been happy with that. But he so stood behind his product that he refunded my entire cost due to not having his product when I should have had it. I would recommend these guys over ANY extended base plate companies out there.

Now a quick review on the plates themselves while I had mine. Does not make the handle ANY longer than orginal. And like advertised, they simply let you make a more consistent grip. The G26 is now even more comfortable to hold and is 100% as concealable as if stock.

If any of you know that Lane post on GT please let him know of this thread.

Agreed. The GAP floorplates are excellent. Highly recommended.

The Pughes are great folks. I have six of the GAP Fingerrests and plan to get more.

When I first ordered from them, I let them know I heard about them on Glock Talk. I don't know if anyone in the family business posts on GT.

Since they are sold in pairs, I assume one good one and one with the flaw. Have you tried them yet? I love the secure grip.

I switched to the GAP after using Pearce +0 for a year. No question, the Pearce detracted from concealability. The GAP is far better in that respect and gives a secure grip.

Unless you need to increase mag capacity, and don't mind reducing concealability, the GAP is the way to go.

What really sealed the deal with me on the CC baseplates was qualification two years ago, 37 degree's in pouring rain :wow:

Increases control especially during draw or long strings of fire, and makes the gun not one bit less concealable.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will check them out one day.

why did THIS get moved

How is this topic not about glock pistols and accessories. So can someone explain to me what a "correct" accessory post is? I mean seriously....:dunno:

Because it's an aftermarket part?
