It seems that Brushed Chrome may be the most mentioned finish. How does one decide which finish is desired without having an opportunity to see them? It's hard enough to see even one Desert Eagle in a gun store.

Well...if you are going to buy from that store, you can say "I wanna put a DE on layaway"..and they would let you see any one you want.

I personally like BLACK MATTE finish.
My older MK1 has the flat black finish. Almost beed blasted looking. When I got my DE, don't know as they offered anything else.
My weapon is used for hunting. The animals would have a good laugh at some of the finishes that are available on the DE's nowadays. Especially the gold tigerstripe. (can you say super pimpie !!) -----pruhdlr

Black Chrome.
(I think they discontinued that color)
I love my brushed chrome 50AE. It looks a lot like stainless.
Check out the site for available finishes.
