Plan on running it in a G17 with no NY trigger spring, just the factory coil with the new connector. Used for IPDA and SD.

What is the best connector for reliability and shootability, in that order?

I'm happy with the Ghost 3.5 lb Rocket (http://www.ghostinc.com/category/.35_rocket/). It's not a drop-in replacement but is fairly easy to install (http://www.ghostinc.com/category/istallationinstructions/).

DJ,
I second Gashira's comment. I've been very happy with the Ghost Rocket in my G34 for IDPA. Just go slow and follow the installation instructions. Do yourself a favor and buy the orange slide cover to aid in the install--worth 10X it's weight in gold.

I like the Scherer. Wouldn't say any is "best". I've tried Glock and Lone Wolf also. All 3 give a different feel.

I have the LWD connector IIRC. Not sure if it's the best, but I like it better than stock.

I use the LWD. Like it a lot. Haven't tried the others.

Best, Rik

I had the opportunity to compare the Rocket side by side with a Ghost Ultimate and an LWD. The Ghost Rocket was noticeably better. It was not a little work to swap out several for Rockets, but I would not have it any other way.

FWIW, I also like the Tactical which runs great for carry guns.

I use LWD and stock 3.5lb for my 34 and 17L. They are both good, especially with additional mods.

I prefer either the GLOCK OEM 3.5 connector or the LWD 3.5 connector, depending on what I'm going to do with the gun...the Scherer is MILES better than the "Ghost", IMHO, but I'll use the GLOCK or LWD first...JMHO, naturally... :) ....mikey357

LWD is the only one I have used and I have no reason to use anything else. Nice and shiny, very smooth no tool marks... fits great nice and crisp....

Hope that helps..

Thanks for all the input. I am going to try the OEM and the LWD and see which one I like best.

Glock OEM is the way I would go. I don't really care for aftermarket internal parts on firearms, that sjust me though. I still wish Glock would start making threaded barrels for their guns :(

The LWD Connector is a higher quality part. It has no stamp marks, this means no rough edges to make the trigger pull rough or gritty like the stock connector without the polish job sometimes produces.. Thats all... It's HIGHLY polished already and the rough edges are gone right from the start.

Well I have stock Glock and LWD. I think the LWD is a tad lighter.

Lighter that is. The middle section is machined or punched with a thinner profile if you compare them side by side, unless you are meaning trigger pull is lighter?!?! If thats the case sorry for being stupid!!

WalterGA always spoke highly of the Scherer. I'm not big on a lighter trigger pull in my Glocks but I did put the Scherer 3.5 pound in one Glock that gets a lot of range time. It works well.
