Bar-sto barrel in G19. Anyone have one?

Thinking about getting one. I like the silver barrel look in a Glock. Do they perform well as stock barrels? I only want one cause it looks cool. If it affects reliability, I'll pass.

on this board you will get a crap load of people saying it will effect reliability but in all honesty they have no proof to back this claim...

you mean you like the stainless look...not silver

barsto makes amazing barrels and are well worth the ruffly $200 you pay for them....you will also be able to shoot non jacketed bullets if you chose out of this barrel. if you get the drop in barrel the gun will go bang and the bullets will go where you want them givin your a decent shot....the fitted barrels are over size at the breach and you will have to remove metal and custom fit the barrel yourself which i recommend you stay away from if your not a gunsmith cause screwing up the slide to barrel fit you most definetly will have reliability issues.

once again on this particular board (great board but alot of paranoids) your asking the wrong question cause majority will tell you to stay stock and not mess with perfection....well there is no such thing as perfection in this world and whats perfect for me may not be perfect for you....

if you like the barrels then hell buy one and test it yourself....put 500 rounds down range and if it doesnt have any issues then well damn looks like one more point for the people who like to mod there glocks.

It doesn't get any better then bar-sto.I shot a 1911 before and after a bar sto barrel was fitted by a gunsmith.
First before I could get 3-4inch groups at 25yards standing afterwards I could get 1.5-2.5 inch groups with the new barrel.It is a great barrel if you are looking for absolute accuracy but for just paper punching I can't see buying for that but if you are doing comps definetaly go for it

I have a fitted one that will put ten rounds of blazer under an inch at 15 yards. totally reliable and shoots as well as my custom 1911 and ISP expert.

I have a Bar-Sto barrel in my G17 that I use for Production Class. Have close to 4k of lead reloads thru it without any problems at all. If you can find one at a decent price get it or maybe try a Storm Lake barrel..

I have a bar sto barrel in my 19, shots great no problems at all, i got it from their website about a year ago, i think they have quit selling direct, but it was coated to match a factory barrel, seems that someone had oreder these and didn't want them in bright finish. They always make more of a special order in case of a problem. if i remember right $125.00 plus 6 for shipping.
