Okay, I;ve recently assembled the following unlimited gun for GSSF:

Gun is a model 34 with some minor trigger work, a c-more on a carver mount, magwell, and port lowered by S&J Customs. I've got a ISMI steel rod and so far 17-, 15-, 13-, and 11-pound springs (all ISMI).

The barrel is a lone wolf threaded one and one of there 9mm comps (minor variety). I've tested the barrel & comp combo out on my second 34 with various commerical loads

I bought a variety of 147 gr. commericial 9mm to run through the gun and found the most interesting thing out.

When the barrel and comp (LWD threaded G34 and LWD minor 9mm comp) are on my test bed G34 (stock except for sevigney sights) it runs fine with the 147 gr. rounds of most types with a 13# ISMI spring.

Now the fun begins when I move the barrel, comp and springs the to the frame with the carver mount and c-more on it. Got nothing but FTF and a few FTE, but most FTF.

Now I took the whole upper and put it on the stock G34 and it runs great, put it on the frame with the carver mount, jam o' matic. Now if I put the stock barrel in with any spring weight (11-17) runs fine. Tried running it with out the mounting plate and C-More, but left on the side plates and the plates that mount it to the frame and put back in the barrel with the comp, and no work.

so in summary:

(1) barrel and comp work fine on G34 without carver mount
(2) stock barrel and any spring (11# - 17#) work fine with carver mount
(3) barrel and comp + carver mount = jam o'matic.

So any suggestions? I'm thinking something about the combination of the carver mount and the lone wolf comp and/or barre are not liking each other. Not sure if its specific to my gun, combo, or what. So all help appreciated.
