I just watched the flick for the first time. Looks like John Mcclane traded in his M9 for a PX4. They must have had a really good technical advisor.

Either that, or the marketing genius of Beretta is still there. Remember the adds after they got the military contracts? And the new ones after the retrials? As I recall, Beretta had a .40 S&W Cougar add out long before Glock 22 and Smith adds or even the ammo was readily available. I wonder how many Beretta 92s were sold as a result of the Die Hard and the Lethal Weapon movies. Beretta knows how to market.

I dont watch movies but am glad to know Beretta is getting exposure. THe Px4 is a great gun. I remember when the first Die Hard came out years ago and it is hard to say how many 92's were sold, while I would never choose a gun based of a movie of gun rag I am glad it worked out so well.

Well, technically John Traded his 92FS for a Sig. His carry gun was a Sig. He later takes the PX4 off of a bad guy.

I don't think it was beretta that choose to put thier guns in die hard 1 and 2
but maybe they did in 3.

But what I do know is that the beretta became popular in movies because
of hong kong movies directed by john woo. Ever seen Killer or hard boiled?
