They opened and they closed then maybe have opened again. I joined when they first opened but, fortunately had not paid my full dues. I never got a refund for my deposit adn I am not sure if they reopened. My wife had offered to buy me a membership this go around, but I don't know if I can handle the disappointment. :crying:

They are on Denver in Loveland, behind walmart:steamed:. There is also one in Fort Collins at Rocky Mountain Shooter Supply. A bit steep on price, but open to teh public.

They are open... Members only and about $500 a year!!!. Again, I got burned once by them, so I a bit hesitatant to go in there again. Plus they are nearly triple the old price. It is a really nice range, though. It's called Front Range Gun Club.

If anyone joins, I would be interested in feedback.

Wow. And people thought that Whistling Pines in Colorado Springs was expensive...

Yeah, Rocky Mountain Shooter's Supply is about $200 a year and you get reduced range fee and, I think, it includes membership to Pawnee Sportsman Center.

Their basic membership runs $30/month. Unlike other local ranges there are no "range fees"; you can shoot as often and for as long as you wish.
Not cheap, but well worth it for me. To each his/her own...

That's what i saw on their website. (which I am trying to find again). $30 per month and $150 sign up fee. If there wasn't the sign up fee, I may be inclined to give them another chance, but once bitten, twice shy...

here is the website for those of you interested. It looks like new owners and last time I was a member, it was a very nice place. I may have come off on the wrong foot, it just seem expensive and I have a bad taste from previous experience. So my advise would be to check them out, and if you like it, GREAT! They took my money and I didn't get it back from the original folks. Being as there are new owners, I may try to join or see if there is a way to get a refund of my previous membership deposit.

This one looks nice and bargain prices ;-)

westy - this is completely new management. I know the team running the place - they are really nice people. Drop by and talk to them if you're close by. It's less than a mile from my work and practically on the way home... it's a perfect location for me, so I joined - and being newly into reloading, I can make up a few rounds and test them on the way to work or way home - perfect to not have to pay anything just to shoot 30 test rounds. Give them a call - Kevin and Cindy - tell them Greg of WYB sent you.

I sent them an email trying to find out how to get a refund from the previous owner but my pwn lack of record keeping will prevent my ever doing so. My only holdback now will be the start up fee. It makes the cost about $500 per year. I will check them out as I see you can buy a couple of passes.

I hope they can help you get in touch with the previous management for a refund, but I am 99% sure that they would have to go that route, as they are not connected in any way - ie, they would not be able to reimburse you themselves, but who knows, they might cut you a deal on the setup fee or something. I recommend calling and asking for Kevin.

the setup fee is a one-time - it is not applicable every year, so your first year might be pricey, but 2nd and subsequent years are not. There was an early bird special - that's past I'm afraid, but I heard from our bookkeeper whose husband is going to join that there is a discount for CCW holders. Membership is also good for a 25% discount on any training course.

Yeah, he gave me the name of the person he thought was the lawyer to contact but no luck. Since it is new ownership I would be willing to try them out, but I will wait to see if they do another special on sign up.
