At 7yrds shooting fast DA , almost 2/sec using the Georgia Arms .38's.

Not as easy using the .357's. About 1/sec with the longer recovery. Group was same size as the GA .38s, just took a little longer.

At 50ft:

..and 75ft/25yrds:

Since tearing the gun down, lubing the trigger group
and polishing a few rough edges (didn't touch sear), the trigger on this gun has improved tremendously.
In some ways, I like the way .357 mag feels out of this gun over the GP100...the grips just match this gun perfectly for recoil absorbtion I guess.

I have the SP 101 with the 3 1/16 inch barrel. It is a tough little gun. It will handle 180 grain hard cast loads with ease. It is the one gun that pretty much goes every were with me. Federal 125 grain 357 hollow points for SD and 180 grain Buffalo Bore or Partition Golds for the woods. Except when the big bears are out!

It's going with me on the snowmobiles next week since the snowsuit makes holster carry less practical.
Probably use 158gr Gold Dot magnums.

The 158 Golt Dot is another good choice for the field. It is a tough bullet.

Yeah, no real big threats other than dumb folks or big kitties.
Not unusual to see kitty in tree you're peeing on.
