Anyone have a model 12? Thinking about a 2" blue version like new.

discont. 1986.
Steel cylinders replaced on all...hopefully.
Alloy cylinders cracked.

If you shoot it much, you might crack the frame. These have a tendency to do that, which is why it was discontinued.

And S&W will NOT fix it for you. When I called last year to inquire about getting a 3" barrel fitted to mine, I was advised that the factory won't touch one anymore.

I had shot perhaps a thousand rounds through it, mostly wadcutters, with no issues. When I was told that, I promptly got rid of the revolver.
