Purchased a new Bio Gun Vault 2000 at a gun show in December and the internal electronics burned up sending smoke into our bedroom. Fortunantly, the amo did not explode and I was able to run it outside. These seem like a great product as you can open them within seconds with your fingerprint. But beware, when I called the manufacturer they admitted they have had a few complants of the mechanism heating up, but mine did burn with a lot of smoke from the electrical parts!!!! Cannon Safe is the distributor and or manufacturer! Cabella's is also selling them and they were backordered!
So if you have one check it everytime you open it for extreme heat or fire!
