View Full Version : LoneWolf Slides and parts
Thinking about converting my G17 to a G22/31 using LoneWolf parts. What do you guys think about that? Its a 3rd gen G17, so that's not an issue. Let me know..........

You are going to need a new slide, barrel, slide internal parts, sights, ejector housing, and magazines. Are you sure you'd rather not just get a new or used G22 for the same price?

+1 By the time you buy everything you need, youre almost at the cost of a used G-22. LWD is a great company BTW, no slam intended

I'll agree with the above posters, Lone wolf makes quality products, but all those parts put you close to the price for a used G22.
I'd just buy a police trade in gun, there seem to be a bunch of them available lately. Have seen them for as low as 300$ for some of the rougher ones. Summit Gun Broker (http://www.summitgunbroker.com/1966886.html) has some available for 339$ with 3 mags and night sites.
Thanks guys for the imput. Main reason to buy parts, was mostly so I wouldn't have to put another frame under my name. Many years ago, I sold a G22 2Gen to buy the G17 3Gen. I'm not into buying used Glock. Seems LoneWolf has a good idea, just a little pricey right now.
I think the LWD stuff is best for putting together combo's that are not available from Glock. Such as longer slides on the compact frames.
