I bought a box of federal premium nyclad 125 grain .38 +p, and wanted to know any info about the round. I can't find hardly anything about the 125. Anybody use this? I like what very little I can find about it, and will buy another box soon more than likely.

In it's time the Nyclad was one of the few reliably expanding rounds out of short barrel revolvers, and did pretty well in other lengths too. Federal, far as I know either no longer makes them or is about to stop, I used to carry them in my 649. The new Speer Gold Dot 135gr round, specifically made for short barrel expansion for the NYPD, is a newer, better version of the same idea.

Berto? lol I know you'll know somethin bout em..
They get 850-875fps in snubbies.
Decent load, though the std pressure version was only about 20fps behind.:wavey:

I ran across a couple of boxes of 125gr, (non +P) Nyclads last year and carry them in my 637.
