yes, works great. great value.
it's not an aimpoint, so you might be made fun of at the range by folks with a $500 red dot in a $120 mounts
IMHO opinion it is overpriced for what it is. I don't mean anything negative by that but a simple decent quality Red dot sight that looks like a Aimpoint can be had for less. I think CDNN had one in their last catalog for under $50 with the mount.
Before this turns into another these are just as good as a real Aimpoint thread just consider one difference. These are rated at 150 hour battery life. A under $400 Comp ML2 is rated at 10,000 hours. If there were no other difference for self defense or SHTF that justifies the price difference.
For range use or if that is all that will fit in the budget go for it.
Jin and Marsh,
Thanks for your inputs.

The S.P.O.T. red-dot optic, from what I have read in the past, is a great red-dot for the price. I would not let the battery life be an issue. Batteries are realitively inexpensive to replace. I have an inexpensive red-dot (also an Aimpoint clone) that I mounted on one of my AKs. It is very similar to the S.P.O.T.. It works very well for a $110 optic. I use the real Aimpoints (Comp ML2 and Comp ML3) on two of my ARs.
