View Full Version : extra power trigger spring
Anyone using a Wolff extra power trigger spring in the gun games? If they reduce trigger pull; do they also increase reset time/effort? I wonder if the reset gets so poor that the pull improvement is more than offset by the reset speed reduction.

I have not tried one myself, but the reports I've seen from shooters who had them, were so-so at best. They reported the trigger sometimes does not reset at all (not going back forward) and other jams.

The 6 pound trigger spring from LWD? I have them in all my Glocks..... Okay, I only have 2 right now but I like them. It made the take much easier and with the stock connector gave me a very nice defined breaking point. They are mean for precision shooting. take up--bang. After the takeup it's almost like a single action now. No problem ever with the reset.

I use the glockmeister competition trigger spring in my game guns and it witht the 3.5 pound connector gives a good crisp trigger pull. I did a little more work to the trigger but I have it set at a nice crisp trigger pull at 2.75 pounds with the stock firing pin spring. I can get it down lighter with a light weight fp spring but I would reather have the reliability. I am gonna switch it out when I get some federal primer ammo to shoot in it as it is the lightest primer out there to set off. The reset on this trigger set is nice and crisp as well
I'm using both Wolff and Glockmeister springs and they are just fine. Change them every 5,000 rounds or so and you'll be ok.
