I've noticed this for some time since I have resumed handgun shooting within the past year, but just now getting around to posting my gripes about it. I'm age 51, myopic (that's near-sighted) and have used bifocals for the past 10 years. For 2-handed shooting, I have to look thru my bifocals to see the handgun sights, but lose focus on the downrange target. Adjusting my focus on the target means not looking thru the bifocals, but then I can't see the sights. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, what do you do to mitigate the problem? Just aim and squeeze the trigger as best you can? Boy, outside 30 FT, I can't hit squat. I do find that I shoot better one-handed, vice two-handed as I can hold the handgun at full arms length two handed which moves the handgun about six inches further from my eyes.

Getting old sure is a bummer! My eyes aren't that great, but I do find this annoying.

Can any of you folks make suggestions of what you experience?

Focus on the front sight, aim at the middle of the fuzzy stuff and pull back straight n' smooth.
