What do you think of the new configuration? Not an AR, but I think it qualifies as a "Black Rifle".

I think it's cool...but I like Bullpups. A lot of people don't seem to care for them.

Is that one yours? If so what is Kurt's turn-around time these days?
Nice, BTW. Was a shame Bushmaster stopped making those.

Honestly, when I bought it from CDNN back in the day, I did not like it. The carry handle is the sight, and it was off. Further, the back of the carry handle is the charging handle. Just plain bad design. And it was a little longer than it needed to be under the current OAL requirements. It also had not easy way to mount accessories like a vertical grip or holographic sight. And last, it did not have a threaded barrel for a suppressor.
So Kurt fixed all those deficiencies. Now it has rails on top and bottom. The cheesey handle sight is gone. In place of that is a revision A Eotech with Yankee Hill BUIS. Since I have the rails, I installed a streamlight tac light and a Tango Down vertical grip. After the barrel was threaded, I went with a Vortex flash suppressor. And I threw a hand me down sling on it.
It's like having a SBR without filling out the paperwork! I had Kurt do the holes for cooling and to lighten it up a bit. He does incredible work, but it did take some time to get it back, I don't remember exactly how many months. But then, the same thing with my RRAs.
