I got a sale flyer in the male yesterday from midway, showing them on sale for 20 bucks off regular price.
I went to the website, entered the stock number, and it said not available, no backorders.
with those conversion tops can you use one of the longer slides on a shorter Glock? like say buying a 23 or 22 slide for my 27, will it work equally well? 'cause if i buy a .22 conversion, I most certainly won't be using it for carry, so i'll want a longer barrel than 3.25 inches.

I think you can only use the kits for the models that are listed for that particular kit (all must have the same frame size). I've got a kit for my G26 and one for my G19. I've never tried but I don't think I could put the 19 kit on my 26 frame. They mount to the frame exactly the same as the factory slide assembly does.

Also I forgot to mention that I got a kit from Midway last week shortly after reading the original post. When I ordered they only had 6 or 7 if I remember correctly and I'm sure they went fast.

Not on sale, but you can order directly from Advantage.
i bought mine from brigade armory eldorado ark has a supply of the these kits
i bought the one for the g 23-19 with extra mag. shipped it was 280.00.
iam going to order one for the g17 this week. i love mine they run good but you need to pull the slide about every 200 round wipe it down lube it good. and get back after it. a extra mag is a big plus i would recommend buying at least one and more if you can afford the extra 20.00. if you cant find it on goggle
e- mail me me and i will get you the phone number. talk to mark good to bussiness with.

pilot, I have the G19 & G26 and am trying to decide which one to get the .22 kit for (only enough $ for 1 kit at present). Any comments on how the kit has been on the 19 vs the 26? Thanks.

I just checked Midway. They only have the G26 kit and it's same price as direct from AA. The only sale item is G19 mags are $5 less than AA sells them for. Interestingly, the G26 kit and mags are marked "closeout" but are not on sale. G19 mag sale ends 3/31/08.

Not in stock when the flier was printed apparently. A company capable of the production needs to purchase Advantage Arms asap. They could make a killing especially if being outside CA they could crank out higher cap mags for them too.

It seems like Midway and everyone else for that matter only gets a few kits in at a time and everything sells out almost instantly. Then it's several weeks or long until more comes in. Like you say it's too bad Advantage can't increase their production or be bought by someone who can increase production drastically.

At that price I can buy a used mark 2 Ruger..... There is a nice appeal to convert your Glock to .22.
