Hi guy's.
i was just wondering if anyone could help me out with some info regarding the brands of shooting timers available in the US and the approx. cost of them.
over here the only brands i think i can get are "RUready" and "CED".
i have heard from pritty much everyone here that PACT is the best, and if you dont mind spending the money then i should order one from them in the US.
looking online, i can see there 2 models, the "club timer 2" and "mk4 championship timer"
the latter i would guess is very expensive given the list of features they have for it, and really im only after something much more basic and dont require all the features of it, so could anyone tell me the cost of the "club timer" in the US.
also, could anyone tell me a shop where i can order one from online?
thanks,
Travis.

I have both Pocket Pro and Pact and they both work fine for me. Here's a source for both in the US.

If your going to be training, use the MIV from Pact. Best training timer on the market. You can get it from:

Take care,
I have the RUReady timer. It is very loud with excellent range. The only drawback is the release trigger.

I had a Pact Club Timer 2 and HATED IT! I also feel I got screwed by "customer service." I much prefer the CED 6000 I have now.

Michael,
What happened with the customer service at Pact? I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the service, which I have had to use in the past.
Thanks,

What features about it make it so good for training? I keep putting off buying a timer to use for practice, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Thanks,
Five weeks before a match, my brother lost my timer, and I decided to try the PACT. I called, and they said I would get it in about two weeks. Two and a half weeks later, I called again, and they said it would be there in a week. Still no timer in a week and a half, so I call again and they say, "they are just starting to roll off the production line now!!!" I explained that I had a match coming up in a week, would they over night it so I could get some practice before the match, and they said they could do that when my order came up, but that might be a couple of days. I then called Dillon, who over-nighted a CED (which I got the next day). I called PACT back to cancel my order, but they were closed. When I got a chance to call again, they said my timer had already shipped. It arrived at my house the day after I got back from the match.

Hi guys,
thanks for the replys.
unfortunatly, i dont think either of the company's listed above will sell to me outside the US.
i have since changed my mind, and am actually after the PACT mk4 champ. timer which isnt really that much dearer then the other one, and it is going to be used for about 90% practicing, so i think it will be much better for my use.
any other help would be great, i dont really know any online gun shop's or places where i can buy this sort of thing from online, that will sell it directly to me here in Aus.
Travis.
IMO,Pact MKIV is the way to go. Get the chrono feature and buy the skyscreens & skyscreen bracket that they make and with the other features it has the MKIV will be all the timer you will ever need.;)
