CCW, Detroit and LEO's

Hello,

I will be spending a couple of days around the Detroit area in April. I am familiar with Michigan CCW laws and have carried in northern Michigan but never in Detroit. I am wondering how the LEO's in that area are towards out of state CCWs. Are they friendly or am I going to get the third degree.

What are the odds of you even being stopped? Even if you are, if your CPL is up to date, you're legal. Just like everywhere else you have good cops and bad cops in Detroit. Just remember, any shooting in Detroit (if it gets you a trial) will be made up of your peers living in Detroit.
