View Full Version : .22 LR Conversion???
Has anyone tried the .22 LR conversion kit for the G22 from Advantage Arms? What are the pros & cons of buying this? Thanks again for all your advice.
Pros:
-cheap ammo!
-train on the same frame with same controls
-no recoil / no flinching = create good habits
Cons:
-cost of conversion kit nears that of a dedicated .22 pistol
-
Go for the Advantage Arms - stay away from Ceiner. I've personally witnessed many problems with a Ceiner conversion, have seen no problems with the AA.
Thanks! I think I will take the Advantage Arms for a spin.

That's good news to read... I figure the AA package will "save" me its cost of purchase it 2 or 3 months...
There's a drought of 35's in my area any advise..
Look on line. Lone Wold Distrib. or Top Glock. I just love my G35. A great gun!

I bought the Advantage Arms .22 conversion kit from Top Glock. Initially I experienced misfires at the rate of 1 or 2 per loaded magazine of 10. I called Advantage directly and the person on the phone suggested that I make sure to clean the barrel well especially were the bullet seats. He said the shell should seat by just dropping it in. He also said to put a drop of oil in the firing pin chamber. The next time I went out, I fired off 100 round without a single misfires. Accuracy is very good and gets better with practice.
I'm really happy with it and it solves the problem of having a G19 for protection while traveling and it converts to a plinker when I go up into the hills.
