does anyone with a non-M4gery profiled heavy barrelled carbine 16" barrel
have any m9 bayonet pics to share with the bayo attached? (i have a bushy a2 heavy barrel carbine non-m4gery profile)
I am very interested as i want to go to my local surplus store and pick up an m9 but i want to see how it works first before i go plunk down the $.
plus i am not too sure if they will appreciate me hauling my carbine in the store to test the bayo fitment.
I have an Eagle Arms preban HBAR A2 rifle (not caribine).
I have a M9 bayonet.
They fit.
I find very little use for this configuration.

I'd just ask if its OK first and if they say no, screwem and find a better store.

A regular bayonet would fit on a 16" carbine (except those with midlength gas systems) like this.
Just imagine an HBAR and an M9. Yes, the bayo will still rattle around on an HBAR.

As far as 16" barrels go, a M9 bayonet will only fit correctly if it has a mid-length gas system.
M7 with extender on 16" with CAR handguards. Haven't found anybody making a M9 extender.
If you are interested here is where I got it.

RWB, you are right--what use is there for one?¿ But they look KOOL, and besides the Dims don't want me to have one, therefore I must! Where is a good place to buy one, and what's a fair price to pay? Regards,
Nail

Nice pig sticker.
What is it?
it's a cold steel brand machete, the bowie style with the 12 inch blade.

p.s. for anyone not catching the humor in my original post: the bowie is not, can not, and never will be attached to my rifle for real. lol
