So, I detail stripped my G23 today for the first time to install this stuff. It really is a mechanically simple gun. Fairly intuitive to take down & reassemble.
I do like the LS trigger, but I'm not so sure it's worth $100. IMO I think it would be better priced at about $60-$75. It seems well made. As far as I can tell they used the stock sear. They polished nicely the ramp that contacts the connector but the didn't polish the actual sear surface that contacts the firing pin. The trigger safety is MUCH wider then OE. In fact, I dare say it's at least 50% of the width of the trigger. I think it could have been a little narrower & still felt very good on the finger. Otherwise, the trigger is beveled heavily on either side & I think I would have preferred a little less bevel so that the trigger had more flat surface area in contact with the finger. But maybe I'm just nitpicking.
I also installed the LW 6lb trigger spring. It's a subtle difference but a good one I think. I would be more satisfied with it except that the retaining loop bent while fitting onto the plastic piece that the ejector is mounted on. I was able to bend the loop back closed easy enough with a pair of needle nose pliars but this leaves me concerned for the reliability of the spring. I'll leave it in for a few range trips & see how it does but I may buy a new one or put the OE one back in just for reliability's sake.
I'm still waiting on a 8lb connector, and I have a LW 4lb connector that I want to try also. But I want to make incremental changes to see what makes improvements. I'll report back after again after the first range trip with these mods installed.
